This project was implemented for an industrial factory in the Philippines, where unstable grid electricity had previously caused production interruptions. At one point, the factory even lost a large client order due to unexpected power outages.
To solve this issue and manage increasing electricity costs, a 400kW solar energy system combined with battery energy storage was installed. The system generates clean solar power during the day and stores excess energy in batteries, ensuring reliable electricity supply when the grid is unstable or unavailable.
By integrating solar PV and energy storage technology, the factory can now maintain continuous production, reduce dependence on the local grid, and significantly lower energy costs. The solution also protects the business from financial losses caused by power-related production shutdowns.
This project highlights the growing importance of solar energy and battery storage for industrial power stability in regions with unreliable electricity infrastructure.
